Avocado Dressing

Avocados have been popular in our kitchens for a long time and are very beneficial to our health. They are considered healthy fats which may help lower the risk of heart disease, blood pressure and bad cholesterol. Also high in fiber avocados help maintain a healthy digestive system. Adding garlic to this dressing gives your body many benefits with its ability to fight bacteria, boost your immune system and detox your body. I had this dressing with tomatoes which are high in vitamin C and potassium which regulates your heartbeat and fluids to help against dehydration. If you are looking to make a quick and tasty dressing try this one.  

GLUTEN FREE AND VEGAN

Ingredients

  • Half of an avocado
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 TBS squeezed lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil, cilantro or any other herb you like

Directions

Mash your avocado with a fork or your own way. Add avocado oil, pressed garlic, lime juice, salt, pepper and a bunch of finely chopped herb of choice. Mix everything well together with a whisk or you might like to use a food processor or blender to make the dressing completely smooth. Quick and delicious. Serve with tomatoes or salad. You can double or triple any of my recipes. Also a good dipping sauce for taquitos or quesadillas.
