Cashew, walnut coconut balls

Nutty delicious snack with coconut flakes. Nuts may reduce inflammation, blood pressure and decrease the risk of heart attack and stroke. They are high in fiber and loaded with antioxidants. Nuts are widely available and are great tasting on their own or in nut butters. Natural cocoa powder is also full of antioxidants which may improve brain function and may have positive effects on your mood. Cocoa has flavanols which are naturally occurring compounds that help support healthy circulation.

GLUTEN FREE AND VEGAN.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 2 TBS natural unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/3 cup coconut flakes
  • 3 TBS maple syrop

Directions

Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse for around 30 seconds until paste forms. Roll into balls and refrigerate in a sealed container.
